Meet Jam Jam
Hello, I’m Sally – but to my grandchildren (and now you) I’m Jam Jam.
I live in a little cottage in High Hurstwood, East Sussex with my husband John (known as Paps), two dogs (Corton and Fuzzy), and a tortoise called Winston. I’ve raised three daughters, welcomed three wonderful grandchildren (known as the Gremmos), and spent most of my life feeding the people I love.
I hate waste, love cooking and believe most recipes are just guides. If I change one (which I usually do), I declare we’re having a Blag.
Jam Jam’s Kitchen is about cooking proper food for real life – on a budget, with what you’ve got and without the stress.

This is how most of my cooking starts. Instead of shopping first, we look at what’s already in the house – a lonely carrot, half a pack of mince, leftover chicken, or something that needs using today. I’ll show you how to turn those bits into proper meals, without another trip to the shops.
